Mr. Sanket Bhatia has a B.S. in Materials Science from IIT Madras, India, an M.Sc. (Production Management) from Hamburg University of Technology, Germany and MBA from the Northern Institute of Technology, Hamburg, Germany. Sanket also has a diploma in Economics, offered by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
Trained as an engineer, initially, Sanket started his career with Tata Motors as a Sales Manager. After his higher studies in Europe, Sanket worked on international corporate development and strategy projects. Sanket has accumulated first-hand experience in the field of building materials, by virtue of his stint with a global major and he had prepared the entry strategy into the Indian market, for that firm. Since late 2008, Sanket has been working with a copper semis producer, based in Switzerland, and has handled production efficiency and corporate development/strategy projects for that company.
Sanket is also Founder & CEO of Pro Decipher - a Switzerland based company on providing specialized sustainability solutions.
At ECOFIN, Sanket is Business Head - Switzerland. Sanket is currently based at Alpnachstad, Switzerland.
