Khodr has more than 25 years of extensive experience in business, management and consulting. He started his career in Oman with Sayed Assad bin Tariq Al Said, and later as a Project Manager in World Trade Center, Oman. His primary responsibility was to develop and promote economic development projects in Oman. Later Khodr worked in Academics as well as in the Consulting domains for several years and finally founded and managed a boutique PM services consultancy dedicated to the promotion and development of SME projects. Khodr had undertaken numerous projects, and provided consulting and advisory services in several sectors/industries, including Abalone Aquaculture, Fisheries, Horticulture (Dates Palm), Higher Education, Logistics (Maritime), Solar Saltworks, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas. He is skilled in research and analysis, solving business issues, and shaping emerging business opportunities and is proficient in networking and maintaining healthy relationships with clients and stakeholders.

At ECOFIN, Khodr is Business Head - US. He is currently based at Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
