From being involved in the Ministry of Planning, Jordan, to six solid years in the Central Bank of Jordan as Supervisor in the Foreign Exchange Department, Khalil has come a long way as an expert in economic feasibility and investment opportunities. Based in Jordan, his nearly three-decade expertise in Economic & Financial Analysis, Business Development, and reporting & analyzing economic feasibility studies has stood him in good stead. This is exemplified by opportunities such as the Five-year Strategic Plan (2010-2014) for the Secretariat of the Union of Arab Securities Authorities (February 2010), the stint in Thimar Holding Group, Jeddah, and two years in Taiba Holding Company, Al Madina, Saudi Arabia.

Khalil played a key role in the Financial Sector of Jordan, being involved in Banking Development, Monetary Policy, Economic Subsidy, Productivity, and Deficit Measures of the Public Budget in the country.

At ECOFIN, Khalil is Business Head-Jordan and takes care of ECOFIN's business development in Jordan and GCC countries. Khalil is currently based at Jordan, Amman.
