Asha Bhat holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) General, from Kaplan Business School Pty Limited. She also holds a Master’s degree, Masters of Business (Professional Accounting) from University of South Australia.

As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Southern Aboriginal Corporation (SAC), Asha ensures a high level of organizational accountability and transparency to all stakeholders. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day management of SAC, ensuring the effective delivery of all funded services, managing finances, human and physical resources, and cultivating strong stakeholder relationships while maintaining accountability.

Asha's dedication and contributions have been recognized through various honours and awards, including the Citizen of the Year Award in 2017, Finalist in the Telstra WA Business Women's Awards, Personal Excellence Award, and Woman of the Year in the Not-for-Profit sector. She was also honored as the 2022 Impact 25 Winner, further highlighting her commitment to excellence and leadership in her field. She is the recipient of the 2024 WA Award for Excellence in Women’s Leadership. These awards recognize individuals who have made significant strides in championing gender equality and empowerment and they serve as a beacon of hope and inspiration that change can be driven in Australian Society.

With a strong educational background and a track record of professional achievements, Asha continues to make a significant impact in her role as CEO of SAC, exemplifying leadership, integrity, and dedication to community service.
